American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)
The mission of AACR is to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, and communication. AACR’s purposes are to foster research in cancer and related biomedical science; accelerate the dissemination of new research findings among scientists and others dedicated to the conquest of cancer; promote science education and training; and advance the understanding of cancer etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment throughout the world.

American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP)
The American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) is the world’s largest clinical cardiopulmonary and critical care medical society with more than 17,000 members in 100 countries. Founded in 1935, the ACCP works to promote the prevention and treatment of diseases of the chest through leadership, education, research, and communication. To achieve this mission, the ACCP publishes CHEST, delivers clinically focused continuing medical education programs, participates in advocacy issues, and more.

American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
ASCO provides cancer information for both oncology professionals and cancer patients. ASCO is committed to: Improving cancer care and prevention; advancing the education of physicians and other professionals in the care of patients with cancer and supporting the development of clinical cancer researchers; fostering communication among cancer-related medical subspecialties and the exchange of a wide range of ideas related to cancer; advocating public policy that ensures patient access to high-quality cancer care and that supports increased clinical cancer research; and assisting oncologists in addressing the challenges of the modern-day practice of oncology.

American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO)
ASTRO’s mission is to advance the practice of radiation oncology by promoting excellence in patient care, providing opportunities for educational and professional development, promoting research and disseminating research results, and representing radiation oncology in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.

American Thoracic Society (ATS)
The American Thoracic Society is an independently incorporated, international, educational and scientific society which focuses on respiratory and critical care medicine.

Angiogenesis Foundation
The Angiogenesis Foundation’s website is a resource for healthcare professionals and members of the public who are seeking information about the role of angiogenesis in disease, its laboratory study, clinical investigations and emerging new therapies for angiogenesis-dependent conditions.

Cuneo Lung Cancer Study Group
CuLCaSG - ALCASE Italia was founded to fight against the world-wide devastating effects of lung cancer. The group focuses on investigating primary malignancy of the lung and posing questions on different clinical aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. The main areas of interest are tumor markers, pre-surgical staging of non-small cell lung cancer, chemotherapy for inoperable disease, psychological issues surrounding the illness, and prognostic evaluation.

International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC)
IASLC is an international professional organization designed to promote the study of lung cancer and to disseminate information about the disease to the members of the Association, to the medical community at large, and to the public.

Oncology Nursing Society
The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a professional organization for registered nurses and other healthcare providers dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, research, and administration in oncology nursing.

Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS)
The Society of Thoracic Surgeons is a not-for-profit educational organization representing more than 4,800 surgeons worldwide who provide heart, lung, esophageal, and other surgical procedures of the chest. The Society is dedicated to saving and extending the lives of the patients it serves.
